| AEM kit uses a bypass pump much like what Aquamist does. It runs quieter than my snow pump and is always working and ramps up as needed. What sold me was the failsafe. Instead of putting in min and max values you hook up your laptop and do a couple of runs. Then you set the curve and you can see any outliers. Once it goes outside of the failure zone you can use it to trigger a different map, turning off a boost controller, or other type events. Motoiq AEM failsafe install Motoiq uses it to find a flow issue. I will say the snow safe controller wasn't a huge issue in how it worked. You could hook it up to a J&S to retard timing, attach it to a normally closed relay and your boost controller will work until the failsafe sends a 12v signal to the relay which opens the circuit. Or you could use a solenoid to release pressure to let it go to wastegate Will have to take a look at the aquamist as it sounds cool. Just seems they are no longer making the HSF-6 kit and are waiting to make a new one.
